1. How does my life sparkle?
2. In what areas of my life would I like to add more sparkle?
3. What are five things I can do this day, week, or month to be full of sparkle?

I did a Wordle to show you how...

Sparkle 5: Rainbow Photo Safari

Here is my version of my photo Rainbow Safari...

My Red fun Sunglasses I like to put on when I want to giggle and be silly...

My Orange scissors that help me create things for myself and others that help me to smile and sparkle...

My Yellow fuzzy blankie my mother made me to help me always know all I have to do is cuddle it around me and know that she is in my heart...

My Green desk pen holder with a lovely picture of my Mother on my desk to always see her and enjoy her smiles, love and encouragement to do whatever I set out to do...

The Blue Butterfly on my Brave Girl Apron I created to remember the Butterfly is my totem to bring me the truth...

My Purple Tinkerbell Tin to remember to always be as a little child and remember to have fun in life...

I see the Rainbow of Life all around me everyday...but until this challenge I didn't know how close it was. Thanks Jaime. :)

Sparkle Poem -Sparkle 4: Different Ways of Experiencing

Some of you may know I am currently taking the Sparkle E Course 31 days of Sparkles. This Sparkle request really touched me. Since I am trying to be creative I took this opportunity to take it even to a higher level than Jaime Asked....

"Pull out your favorite poem and enjoy the different ways the words sink into your heart and mind, and notice how they stay with you"

I have one I have carried in my heart since I read it in the Leaves of Gold my mother gave me when I was young. It is Love by Roy Croft. I have dedicated to people before. I have mostly thought of it to other people. But now after taking Soul Restoration I realize it is speaking TO me as much as it speaks ABOUT others...

I used my Sparkling Mod Podge and MP'd it down on canvas so I could also see it Sparkling before me... I share it with you today...

Love

I love you
Not only for what you are,
But for what I am
When I am with you.

I love you,
Not only for what
You have made of yourself,
But for what
You are making of me.

I love you
For the part of me
That you bring out;

I love you
For putting your hand
Into my heaped-up heart
And passing over
All the foolish, weak things
That you can't help
Dimly seeing there,

And for drawing out
Into the light
All the beautiful belongings
That no one else had looked
Quite far enough to find

I love you because you
Are helping me to make
Of the lumber of my life
Not a tavern
But a temple.

Out of the works
Of my every day
Not a reproach
But a song.

I love you
Because you have done
More than any creed
Could have done
To make me good.
And more than any fate
Could have done
To make me happy.

You have done it
Without a touch,
Without a word,
Without a sign.

You have done it
By being yourself.
Perhaps that is what
Being a friend means,
After all.

RBBP Creations

I haven't done much creating lately. Though I am working on it. I have been so busy learning and reading that I have not been focusing on this aspect. The funny thing is, what I have been reading is all ABOUT creating, yet I have neglected it.

Here are my images of some creating I did today at least. Even though it was small, I have done some.

This is the Beginnings of my RBBP Book for my company

This is the folder area for the things I learned and will learn form RBBP (Right Brain Business Plan)

This is the Folder are and pages for my Non Profit.

I listened to a Big Vision Script for the big vision I want of my business and I am now tasked to go off and make a collage. After that is done I will post that up as well. :)

Keep creating!

My Creative Side

Sometimes it really is hard for me to know where i am supposed to put things. Do I put them here on this blog or on my ADGB blog. I decided for this aprt of it at least I am going to put it here.

I did this cute little addition to a card I had for a little "girl" friend I know for someone else to send a card off to her. I know she likes all kinds fo cutesy things so I just added to the cover. The little cat in the back was holding the picture in place but when I took the pic it made me laugh that the cat was peeking out saying "HI!"

Then after watching the Right Brain Business Video Summit I have been inspired to get my things in order. I realized I didn't have a calender here so I created one instead of buying one. This is what we "Creatives" do you know. This is what I have learned is okay and acceptable. The following images are the progression on the canvas board using the Glimmer Screen and Glimmer Mist.

Then I added embellishments, Sparkle Mod Podge, left over ribbon from my apron (repurposed), and used the sleeve the calendar pieces came in to hold the past months as well as the future months.

Then I used these cute paper clips I got at Target to hold the months on the ribbons. I was looking for a stapler to staple the back of the ribbon to the board, but I couldn't find any so I just used the last little bit of regular Mod Podge to hold it together and then I Blow dried it down.

Can Art Change the World?

As I was searching through my Hulu this morning to watch something while I eat breakfast I ran across this Ted Talk. I love TED talks and this one, the title even, intrigued me. The things he can do, the things he has done are simply amazing. It is these simple ideals that something so simple as Art can take shape in any form and become dynamic. I think you will be moved by this talk whether you are an artist or not. If you are an artist, you will be astounded and moved.

It moved me to think, not only could I with my one crappy little Black and White 35MM can do something with the Photography I like to do, but think about those who do this for a living. Think about other photographers who could help change the world. Then that got me to think, how he has inspired me in thoughts of.."Well, this is one man's project, this is his way of changing the world. How can my art make a difference?"

From that thought my thoughts are burning holes in my head. I have many ideas and thoughts of things I do and create. Am I creating for myself or do I desire to make a difference? I desire to make a difference in other areas of my life and constantly with others, so why not through art. what art am I creating now that could inspire others? What can I do in my own town? What can yo do in your school? What can you do in your family?

Watch the video and I think you too will be moved and perhaps your brain will start working overtime as well.
