So this is my Truth Card for Today.

Brave Girl Friends Stick Together

I just used glue again today. The truth is

"It is so important to surround yourself with souls who beleive in you."

And I OF COURSE had to have my Sweet Leaf Sweet Tea to keep me company on this Superbowl Sunday to complete the card of the day! :) I used a Mary Englebreit image for the background and on of my K&CO recycled cards again. Also some of the K&CO raised Butterflies for my totems. :)

I root for BRAVE GIRLS! That's the team I root FOR!! :)

What day am I on?? LOL -"Life Is Good" Truth Card

Ok, I don't know if I shoudl be numbering anymore because that is getting confusing. But I think I will start titling them. this one I am going to call "Life is Good". The Truth has a list of this and that "...is good" and I cut a few of them out.

"Peace is Good." "Dancing is Good" "Smiling is Good" "Laughing is Good"

If you know me, you know I like to be silly. I like to laugh. I like to enjoy life. I savor it. I love to dance. I love to sing. As you can see by my pictures even, silliness exudes. I love to smile. when I was 16 my best friend E said, "Did you know your smile is your best feature? Stop hiding it and show it off. " I have been doing that ever since and it feels great. As well, I have been hearing how much people love my smile since that day. Thank E for being bold enough to tell me that. :) Life is Good. I am glad I am here to live it. So I decided to make this Truth Card today as a constant reminder that Life IS Good and NEVER forget it!

I didn't use any Mod Podge on this card just glue stick and raised K& Co raised stickers I bought at Michael's.  the background is an old flimsy card and I think the Mod Podge would have bent it too much as well. I also used another recycled cardboard piece from a K&Co backboard to make it a bit sturdier, but still, it is not super hard.  The raised stickers are Laughter, Smile 7 Happiness. then I added my butterfly totems by using a couple of stickers.

Truth Card Day 6

I think I am off a day. Because I started on a Sunday not a Monday. I meant to start on a Monday. So my days of the week don't match with my days on the blog. :) So I am going to try and catch up if that makes sense to you all. Like today is Friday so I should be on Truth card 5 but I am on 6, how did that happen? I don't know.

So here is my card and this weekend I will figure that out. :)

So I used a Thank you card this week and I was so excited I forgot to show you the steps this time :) I cut the card in half like I have been doing. I found these cute K&CO raised sticker tags and the truth had to do with Cherish and I had a raised Cherish tag so I jsut went to town and then realized I forgot to take step pictures. Sorry :(  I got the cards at Target so they were cheap and this happen to be one I had leftover. Then I used an old cereal box for some raised chipboard effect for the truth.  I put my raised big Butterfly as my totem and walah! A Truth Card!

The Truth says "True Friends are a rare and precious gift...Cherish them, take care of them" That is how I feel about my new Brave Girls friends. I have found new friends that are rare and precious now. I never knew such love. Not from women anyway. :) Thank for reading my blog and I am glad we have these truths to remind us. I hope you all are doing your truth cards and enjoying mine. :)

Truth Card Day 5

"It's Time to Love the Life you are in"

That is the truth for today.  Sometimes we need to just stay simple. Be direct and to the point. Sometimes we need to be reminded of these simple truths. We need to not worry so much about what the Jone's have and what other people are doing. We need to just love what we already have and what we are already doing. Love the life we are in. then things start happening. It's amazing how this happen but it does.

So for my card, I even stayed simple. I used recycled card stock from one of KC& Co cards that come in teh packages. I cut the top off so you couldn't see the K&Co and used a paper stock for the background. Then used a gray trim at the bottom that I cut in half. The Celebrate in the center is a raised K&Co sticker from a sheet of stickers.

End result, a simple Truth Card that looks pretty. Love the life you are in, and the life you want will start unfolding before your very eyes. I have seen it happen. Really. Enjoy.

Truth Card Day 4

Hi Everyone! Whew! I was wondering if I was going to be able to make a Truth card today. I had a horrible migraine that I have had for days but it slammed me hard yesterday. I made my card yesterday, but had to lie down after.

But luckily after much prayers, happy thoughts and good energy sent my way I am feeling better today. I have a lingering migraine so I am taking it easy, but I am functional. My neurologist says that is the most important. Whether or not I can be functional. Just like the motto for this week, I am Doing it anyway!

So here is my Truth CArd for Today. I surprised you and chose something OTHER than a Mary Englebriet thing. MUWAHAHAHAHAAA!

Truth Card Day 3

 

Truth Card "Remember how it feels to be home and Protect it Fiercely!"

I used the back part of the cardboard you get with your stickers and stuff. This one was from K&C Company. I seem to use a lot of their things. They have a lot of raised things that works well for me in this course and I like how it looks with the Mary Englebreit stuff.  Along the side is a raised Remember sticker and then towards the bottom is a little flower embellishment.

I like the little ME picture. I got this from an old Day planner that I kept around. The little girl is sitting in from with her cat and to me it is like they are guarding their home. So they are Protecting It Fiercely to me. If you knew My cat Dude you would understand that more. he is a bit of a handful and he protects me Fiercely so if I was protecting my home he would DEFINITELY protect it with me.!

Truth Card Day 2

Hi ALL!

So I completed my Truth Card for Day 2!

I decided to do this one based on the Truth. As I say in the video sometimes I decide to do the Truth Cards based on a picture I see sometimes I do it on the Truth I find that perhaps JUMPS out at me. so this one was for the Truth. I have been wanting to do a card for that Truth for some time but I couldn't find my little hands and a I couldn't find the right image to go with it.

This Truth says "A Thousand unseen helping hands are there to assist you at all times, but you must first know what you want..and then you must ask for it."

Then the other little saying near it that I got from the old Mary Englebreit Calendar I used says "It is not so much our friends help that helps us as teh confident knowledge that they will help us."

I used an old Me Calendar page for the image, Mickey Mouse sticker hands for hands and some embellishments around for added flair. Then of course my Butterfly Totem up top.

I found it all toady and so TADA, Truth Card for Day 2!
